Uyama Hiroto 2014年発表のアルバム「freedom of the son」2LP化！！
nujabes が自身の制作のみならず、ライブなど音楽活動において絶対なまでに信頼を置き、nujabes、hydeout produtionsを創世記から支えて来た名プレイヤー、Uyama Hiroto。盟友 nujabesの突然の他界という大きな障壁を超え、自身らが立ち上げたroph recordingsより放った傑作アルバムが遂にレコードに。
2003年にリリースされたnujabes「metaphorical music」にて"Letter from Yokosuka"を提供し、2005年にリリースされた「modal soul」ではタイトル曲にフィーチャーされる等、 nujabes、hydeout produtions作品を創世記から支えて来た最重要人物であるUyama Hiroto。2008年にhydeout productionsよりリリースされたデビューアルバム「a son of the sun」では、記録的なセールスをたたき出し、多くのリスナーを今なお魅了し続けている。2020年には待望の2LPがhydeout productionsよりリリースされた。
nujabesが自身の制作のみならず、ライブ等音楽活動において絶対なまでに信頼を置き、前作「a son of the sun」を「虚ろな模倣作品が氾濫する中、聴けば分かる"絶対オリジナルな感性の一番搾り"」とまで賛辞した感性の持ち主であるUyama Hiroto。「a son of the sun」から内容の濃い6年間というレイヤーを重ね続け、凝縮されたマインドが遂に解き放たれた本作「freedom of the son」。
レーベルの根幹となる作品であり、レーベルが本来目指すフォーマットのレコードとして今回遂にリリース。
